Geothermal energy

Geothermal energy is the considerable level of energy in the form of heat contained in the ground beneath our feet. All this geothermal energy has the potential to generate geothermal power to provide large amounts of electricity. To harness geothermal energy and transform it into electricity, geothermal power stations are used. In our country, geothermal energy may be exploited especially in the Western Plains and the Eastern Carpathians.
